Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about switching from MakeUGC to Simplified.

Is Simplified really a good alternative to MakeUGC?

Simplified AI UGC Video Generator is an excellent MakeUGC alternative for creators who want more than just UGC videos. While MakeUGC offers more avatars (300+ vs 90+), Simplified provides faster video generation, a free forever plan, and an all-in-one platform with design, writing, and social tools. For teams needing a complete marketing solution, Simplified delivers better overall value.

How does Simplified AI UGC compare to MakeUGC?

Both platforms create AI-generated UGC videos with realistic avatars. Simplified generates videos in under 2 minutes compared to MakeUGC 2-10 minute processing time. MakeUGC offers 300+ avatars while Simplified has 90+. However, Simplified includes custom avatar uploads on all plans (MakeUGC restricts this to Enterprise), supports 50+ languages (vs 29+), and offers 4K exports.

Does Simplified have a free plan like MakeUGC?

Yes and it is better. MakeUGC only offers a $1 trial for 72 hours, then requires $49/month minimum. Simplified free plan never expires, requires no credit card, and lets you create real UGC videos indefinitely. You can upgrade when ready, but there is no pressure or artificial time limits.

Can I create product showcase videos like MakeUGC Product-in-Hand?

MakeUGC Product-in-Hand feature (where AI avatars hold products) is available on their $119/month Pro plan with 10-second clip limits. Simplified focuses on script-based UGC videos where AI actors speak about products naturally. For many e-commerce use cases, authentic testimonial-style videos convert better than brief product-holding clips.

What is the main difference between Simplified and MakeUGC?

Simplified is an all-in-one marketing platform while MakeUGC focuses solely on UGC videos. With Simplified, you get AI UGC generation PLUS graphic design tools, AI writing with 50+ templates, video editing, and social media scheduling all in one subscription. MakeUGC requires you to purchase separate tools for these capabilities, often costing 3-4x more total.

How long does it take to switch from MakeUGC to Simplified?

Most users are creating UGC videos within 5 minutes of signing up for Simplified. The interface is intuitive: choose an AI actor, write or generate a script, and click generate. No complex onboarding, no training required. Your MakeUGC videos remain yours to use. Simplified simply gives you a faster, more affordable way to create new content.
