How to create Book Covers
To make a beautiful book cover, get started by clicking the new project button on the upper left corner of your screen and then clicking custom size.
With simplified, you can customize your dimensions for your art boards. So once you’ve entered your preferred dimension to go ahead and click create.
If you don’t know where to start with your designing, don’t worry. Simplified can help you make an awesome book cover. Just click the template icon on the left-hand side. From there, you can browse thousands of professionally predesigned templates so you can create a book cover in just a few clicks.
If you want to create from scratch, go ahead and select the media icon, here you can browse photos, videos, gifs, and audio for your book cover. You can browse by scrolling or you can search for an idea or a theme.
Once you found an element that you love, go ahead and click drag and drop into your art board. You can select the element and from here you can crop adjust. You can even set an image as a background by clicking this icon in the top toolbar.
Select the text icon to add text. You can choose what kind of texts you want to use and you can even browse fonts. When you’ve found a font, you love go ahead and select it and it’ll pop up on your art board. Then edit to your liking.
When you’re finished with your design, you can go ahead and export it by clicking the export button. And you have a beautiful book cover design in just a few minutes!
