How to design with monochromatic colors
Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base hue and extended using its shades, tones and tints. Tints are achieved by adding white and shades and tones are achieved by adding a darker color, grey or black.
Begin by changing your Brandkit colors to some stunning monochromic colors. In the lefthand menu select Brand Kit and scroll to find your color palette. From here you can delete a color or change the color itself. Now you’ll be able to easily access monochromatic colors in your artboards.
Monochromatic color schemes provide opportunities in art and visual communications design as they allow for a greater range of contrasting tones that can be used to attract attention, create focus and support legibility.
Applying a monochrome technique to brand identity is a great way to create unity and will make designing anything for the brand that much easier going forward as all the colors has already been chosen!
