How To Add A B-Roll To Your Video?

B-roll refers to supplemental or alternative footage that is intercut with the main shot in a video. Using a Simplified video app, adding B-roll to your videos is straightforward and efficient. The app offers a B-roll video editing option that allows you to enhance your clip with just a few simple steps.

1. Go to the AI Video App from the Dashboard: Begin by navigating to the AI Video app on your Simplified dashboard.

2. Click on AI Video: Once in the dashboard, select the AI Video option to start the process.

3. Click on Generate with AI: Choose to generate a new video using AI for a streamlined experience.

4. Or Click on New Video: Alternatively, click on New Video to start a fresh project.

5. Prepare Your Project: Begin by setting up your main footage. Add the primary video clips, arrange them in the desired sequence, and ensure that your timeline is organized.

6. Click on Captions: To make your video more informative and engaging, add captions. Click on the “Captions” tab to access the captioning tools.

7. Select Caption Where You Want to Add B-Roll: Decide where in your video you want to insert the B-roll. Scroll through your captions and select the specific one where the B-roll footage should appear and click on Add Media.

8. Click on B-Roll Option: With the caption selected, look for the “B-Roll” option in the editing toolbar. Click on it to open the B-roll insertion menu.

9. Add Clip You Want to Include: Browse through your media library to find the clip you want to use as B-roll. You can also upload new clips if needed. Once you’ve selected the appropriate clip, add it to your project.

10. Click on Add: After selecting the clip, click the “Add” button to insert the B-roll into the chosen spot in your timeline.

11. B-Roll is Ready in Your Video: The B-roll footage is now integrated into your main video. It will play alongside the primary footage, adding visual variety and depth to your content.

12. Click on Play Button and Review: To ensure the B-roll is perfectly placed, click the “Play” button to preview your video. Watch the entire sequence to check for smooth transitions and overall coherence.

13. Click on Export and Download: Once you are satisfied with the video, click on the “Export” button. This will render your video into a final format. After the export is complete, click the “Download” button to save the finished video to your device.
